Part Time Coffee Shop Assistant

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Coffee Shop team.

We're currently looking for a few new staff members to work coffee shop shifts during school holidays and at weekends from September.

(If you're heading away from the area to university / college in September then this isn't the job for you)

Job Description

As a valuable member of the Church Farm team you will provide excellent customer service with prompt delivery of quality beverages and products whilst maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

To make our family business a great place for customers and for employees alike, we need to recruit energetic Baristas with enthusiasm, a positive attitude and of course a passion for coffee.

As a Barista your focus will be on our on our 3 C's - quality Coffee, Customer Service and Cleanliness. You will have customer service experience and ideally some coffee experience; however we provide excellent training for all recruits.

Job Hours

This is a part-time position to fill shifts at weekends and during Wirral school holidays. Normal working hours are 10.00am – 5.30pm. Some flexibility will be required to fill in absence when required.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.

Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.

Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.

Follows all operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.

Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Summary of Experience

No previous experience required as full training will be given, however any experience in a high pressure sales environment will be beneficial, and most importantly, a can-do, people focused attitude will ensure your ongoing success in this role.
