The
shop sells home-grown organic vegetables, from potatoes
to carrots to onions. And from May to June, the rare delicacy
that is Church Farm organic asparagus is available too.
You’ll have to be quick though.
They champion other local suppliers, sourcing fruit,
vegetables, meat, jam, honey and bread from as close to
the farm as possible. A trained butcher is on hand at
the meat counter from Friday to Sunday, to give expert
advice.
There’s a well-stocked deli counter with a massive
selection of cheeses, olives and antipasti. A Church Farm
cheeseboard always goes down well.
The Church Farm seasonal ranges are definitely worth
stopping by for, from Easter eggs to Christmas delicacies,
vegetable boxes and meat orders.
And
the shop also sells cakes, wines, puddings, foodie gifts
and luxury groceries. There’s just one rule –
it has to taste good!
