The Church Farm Santa Experience 2017

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What dates is The Church Farm Santa Experience 2017 running?

For 2017 Santa will be visting on the following dates- Sat 2 & Sun 3, Sat 9 & Sun 10 then  Sat 16 & Sun 17 December 2017.

Why are there different ticket prices?

Rides nearer to Christmas day tend to be more in-demand so they remain full price. We reduce the price of earlier dates to make them more attractive.

All dates offer exactly the same experience. If you're able to come on an earlier date you can really make some savings!

Is it possible to transfer tickets?

Unfortunately it's not possible to transfer tickets. This policy is in line with all major ticketed events.

What is The Santa Experience?

The Santa Experience is a theatrical journey which takes place up in the real Christmas tree forest.

You're taken from the farm up to the forest by tractor and trailer then are guided on foot around the forest.

The guides take you round to meet a whole host of characters before you meet Santa himself. The ride is personalised

by using information you give us on a form on the way up in the trailer to make it more special. After Santa you can enjoy

a mince pie before your return tractor ride back to the farm. The whole ride lasts 45 - 55 minutes.

Do adults need to buy tickets too?

Yes, please purchase a ticket for every person who wants to come on The Santa Experience. We aim to make our ride special for the whole family!

Children under 1 year old are free and do not require a ticket.

Are dogs allowed on the farm?

No, this event isn't suitable for dogs and they will not be permitted onto the ride. Only guide dogs will be admitted.

Do we need to book tickets?

Yes, it's important to pre-book tickets for the Santa Experience as most rides sell-out.

Will tickets be available on the day?

All Santa rides usually sell-out so it's not usually possible to book on the day. Tickets will be available only if spaces remain.

I can't book tickets on a particular date. Can you help?

Rides fill-up quickly so it's often difficult to find a ride with available spaces online.

If you're struggling you can give the TicketQuarter box office a ring on 0844 8000 410 (calls cost 5p per minute)

Will the farm park be open?

Limited attractions and animals will be open to see until 4.30pm each day.

The only farm attractions open over Santa weekends will be the small animal area, pedal go-kart track, adventure playground,

plank maze and indoor sandpit. All other attractions are closed at this time of year as we're selling Christmas trees in the main area

and have multiple tractors running around other areas.

Do the children receive a gift?

Yes, Santa has a special chocolate gift for every child. We also have a dairy free, gluten free, wheat free and egg free option-

suitable for coeliacs, vegans and vegetarians. If you'd like your child to receive this instead then do let us know on the form when you board the tractor.

Do the adults get anything?

Yes, we haven't forgotten about you! Adults will be given a mince pie and alcohol-free mulled wine.

Will be allowed to ride if we're late?

Not usually, no. We can only permit customers onto later rides if space permits and rides usually sell-out.

The booked ride time is the time the tractor leaves for the forest.

Do allow extra time to park, put coats on then walk to the boarding area.

Is the ride wheelchair accessible?

The ride features a ride in a trailer up to the forest which does have 3 stairs to access it.

We can carry one wheelchair in the trailer if you're able to fold it and we're happy to assist with this.

Alternatively if it's easier for you you're welcome to drive up to the forest in your own transport.

No- most activities are designed to be fun rather than frightening. The Beastly Barrel train does have monsters so do avoid that option if you're unsure about scaring little ones!
